Living Epistle is more than just a husband and wife duo – they are a testament to resilience and redemption born during the challenges of quarantine. Quincy Rycraw Cochran (or simply Q) and Sharon Irving Cochran, both hailing from the streets of Chicago's South Side, have faced adversity head-on and emerged as a force to be reckoned with. They co-founded Living Epistle while sheltered in place in 2020.

Their journey, woven by fate, is a remarkable story of love's redemption, new beginnings, and the transformative power of music. From the depths of divorce and brokenness, they've emerged as living masterpieces, embodying the very definition of a “living epistle” which is a "living, breathing, and walking letter of God's goodness, glory, and grace."

Their powerful musical ministry has reached diverse audiences, from pulpits to prison ministry, and even to NFL events where they've led worship at game chapels, bringing encouragement and inspiration to players before the intensity of game day. The resonance of their worship is nothing short of moving, and touching the hearts of all who experience it.

The dynamic synergy of Quincy and Sharon on stage never fails to bring the house down.

In 2020, they recorded their first single, a soul-stirring rendition of the Christmas classic “Oh Holy Night,” which resonated with audiences, further cementing their place in the world of music and ministry. Their eclectic style spans genres from Gospel to CCM (Christian Contemporary), from Country to Soul, and everything in between. All  showcasing their remarkable range of talent. They aim to write songs that take people off the edge, offering a lifeline of hope in their music.

Their mission extends beyond the spotlight, aiming to illuminate the stories of everyday people. Their artistry calls forth the dreamers who dare to reach for the stars in a world that often tells them it's impossible. In their music, they find a vessel for redemption, an anthem for resilience, and a testament to the enduring power of love.

With the birth of their daughter, Sky Elizabeth, their legacy takes on a new dimension. She serves as a reminder that dreams are worth chasing relentlessly. As Q eloquently puts it, "Sky is the limit."

For Sharon and Q, Living Epistle is not just about entertaining; it's about inspiring the next generation. Their legacy is a torch of unwavering determination, a belief in the healing and transformative power of Jesus, art, and music, and an invitation for all to become their version of Living Epistles, bearing witness.
